Wireless Security Cameras

Wireless security cameras only require the use of one cable. This cable is that which connects the receiver with the monitoring system. The camera itself is a standalone feature which broadcasts information to the monitoring system.

There are many advantages to the use of wireless security cameras. For instance, their installation is very easy. There is no need of digging trenches or cutting holes into walls for their placement. Also, they may easily be relocated if a better position is discovered.

Wireless security cameras may transmit data to a monitoring system continuously. They also may only transmit it at intervals, or when motion is detected. These latter two options provide a more energy efficient option.
